Hydrogen Peroxide is one of those safe household products that you can use to clean your home and not have to worry about toxicity. Here are some brilliant ways to use it around your home.

SANITIZING YOUR TOOTHBRUSH

Believe it or not, our toothbrushes have bacteria. Washing with water alone won’t eliminate residues as it should.

Here is what you can do, soak the toothbrush in a 1/4 cup Hydrogen Peroxide once weekly to ensure you are not adding bacteria to your mouth while brushing. Nope! you would not want to do that.

STAINED TILES

Stained tiles, no worry, simply spray the area with Hydrogen Peroxide and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Wipe with a wet mop or towel to see the amazing results. While doing this, it will help to remove grout and odor.

THAT SPONGE

The sponge you use to wash the dishes has the most bacteria carrying agents in the kitchen, yet we use it to clean almost everything we use.

To remove the bacteria, this is what you do, place it in a bowl with Hydrogen Peroxide overnight. Rinse and continue using with confidence.

BRIGHTEN WHITES

Whites turning to yellow or looking worn? regular household bleach can do this over a period of time. Adding Hydrogen Peroxide to your wash can make your white glow.

As you do with bleach, pour some hydrogen peroxide in the washer, allows soaking for 10 minutes. Add laundry detergent, and proceed to wash. You are not going to believe the results.

FOOD STAIN REMOVER

Don’t panic! A food stain can have a nasty look on clothes and carpets. first, rinse the stain with warm water, spray Hydrogen Peroxide in the area.

Let it sit for half/hour. Use a towel to rub the area. Do this until the stain is no longer visible.

CLEANING THE TOILET BOWL

For this, pour a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide in your toilet bowl to clean and deodorize. Brush with a toilet brush, this will keep your toilet clean. It will also save you the trouble of trying to find an effective toilet bowl cleaner.

COUNTERTOP DISINFECTANT

Before you start cleaning your countertop, you may want to test the Hydrogen Peroxide on a small area to see if it will react. Hydrogen Peroxide is perfect in removing stubborn stains from countertops. Mix 1/2 cup Hydrogen Peroxide in 1 cup of flour with 3 tbsp of cold water. Mix well to create a paste.

Apply the mixture to the countertop and allow it to sit for 2 hours. slowly scrape off the mixture with a soft bristle brush. then wipe with a wet cloth.

CLEANING WIPES

Keep a jar of Hydrogen Peroxide disinfecting wipes handy to quickly sanitize things and surfaces. This makes cleaning up things quick and easy.

TOWEL DEODORIZER

Adding Hydrogen Peroxide to your load of musky towels will do the trick of bringing them back to smelling brand new.

It is simple, pour a cup of Hydrogen Peroxide in with the towels add laundry detergent and proceed to wash. Towels will smell as fresh as the early morning due. DO NOT USE ON COLORED LINEN.

REMOVE MOLD AND MILDEW

Spray the area with Hydrogen Peroxide. Ensure to saturate the area. Leave to sit for 10 minutes.

Scrub the area to remove mold and mold stains. Wipe the surface to remove spores and residual molds. Not advisable on wooden surfaces.

REFRESH KITCHEN SINK WITH CLEANING BOMB

Place some cleaning bombs made of baking soda, citric acid, and other bacteria and odor and bacteria eliminating ingredients. Pour in some Hydrogen Peroxide. Let it sit for about an hour, and you should have a fresh and clean sink after.

DETOXIFY YOUR SHOWER

To remove toxic build-up from your shower, this is so easy, just like any other household cleaner. Simply spray the entire shower.

REMOVING BLOOD STAINS

This may apply to folks in the medical field. Bloodstains on your scrubs? apply full-strength Hydrogen Peroxide directly to the stain.

If possible do this before it is dried. Let it sit for a while. wipe the area with a clean cloth until the stain fades. wash as usual.

CLEANS SHOWER CURTAIN

A greasy and untouchable shower curtain is not one to touch or look at. Simply spray full-strength Hydrogen Peroxide on it or soak in a bucket with Hydrogen Peroxide, warm water, and laundry detergent. LET THIS SIT OVERNIGHT FOR BEST RESULTS.

SANITIZE YOUR CUTTING BOARD

A normal wash just won’t thoroughly disinfect your cutting board. FOR A HEALTHY YOU, YOU’RE GOING TO NEED MORE THAN THAT.

GLASS CLEANER REPLACER

You will need to combine 1 gallon of warm water, and 2 cups Hydrogen Peroxide, to this add 3 teaspoons of any type of dish soap. Mix together and spray.

Rinse with warm water, then use a sheet of the newspaper and wipe mirrors for a clean and streak-free finish.

CLEANING RUGS AND CARPETS

Mix a biodegradable liquid soap, Hydrogen Peroxide to a gallon of hot water. Ensure your solution has a content of 2 percent hydrogen peroxide to a gallon of hot water and combine well. Wipe stained or soiled area and allow to dry.

CONTACT LENS CLEANER AND DISINFECTANT

Hydrogen peroxide is perfect for cleaning, disinfecting and storing your contact lenses. Place your lenses in the container provided and rinse them.

Add the solution to the cup where it will be disinfected and cleaned without an effort. RINSE WELL BEFORE WEARING.

LUNCH BOX SANITIZER

It is important to ensure those lunch boxes are clean and smelling great. That’s, where you will want to wipe on a daily basis with Hydrogen Peroxide to get rid of unpleasant odors. This can be very embarrassing especially for kids.

UNCLOGGED BLOCKED DRAINS
